Partnering with parents, our goal is to teach children the joy of knowing that God made them, He loves them and that we can talk with Him as we go about our days.

Program
We prepare our play-based lessons based on topics children enjoy while noticing the seasons, celebrating birthdays and holidays, and reading great picture books. We sing songs and play games during circle time. We also like to go on field trips like the pumpkin patch or the zoo.
In normal school years, we sometimes invite family members to join us for special seasonal celebrations like Christmas, Valentine’s Day, or Mother’s Day.

A few of the many themes that we enjoy include Community Helpers, Dinosaurs, Outer Space, Fairy Tales, Pets, Insects, and Friendship. We also read and learn from the Bible and this is integrated into every theme we study. We include a Bible lesson every week.
Focus
We believe that preschool-age children learn best when we use play as our primary teaching tool.

We know that children learn by doing so plan hands-on activities and movement in every subject we teach.

I have been teaching young children for the last 30 years. I love seeing the world though a child’s eyes as they discover and experience the world God created for them. Over the years, I have taught ages 2 through 6, spending my last 12 years teaching kindergarten. My focus is on understanding each individual child and helping them grow academically, socially, and spiritually. I enjoy partnering with families as we set the foundation for their child’s success.

I have worked with children in one capacity or another over the past 25 years. While I've had experience working with kids of many ages and stages my favorite setting continues to be preschool. It is such a privilege to be part of a preschooler's world. there is nothing better than watching a child discover something for the first time: the first spring flowers, a new concept or skill, a new friend. I'm so grateful to the families who entrust their kids to us.
