 Program

Welcome to our classrooms, where learning comes alive through themes that spark joy in our students! We explore the wonders of each season, celebrating birthdays and holidays and dive into captivating picture books that ignite imagination.

Our instruction is full of hands-on learning, sensory play, and unique crafts.

Our daily lessons focus on content for the theme of the week, letters and numbers, phonics, music and games.

Join us on this exciting journey as we foster a love for learning in a fun and engaging environment!

Family and friends are invited to join us for several programs throughout the year. We host daytime "Pie Days" for Thanksgiving and Easter where the children share a few special songs  and we enjoy a dessert time together.

In December, we host a formal Christmas program where we present the Christmas story with costumes and seasonal songs.

At the end of the school year, we have another evening program where the children perform some of their favorite songs and we celebrate their many achievements from the year.

The fun doesn't stop at the conclusion of the school year. Throughout the summer, we have organized playground and water play days where we can enjoy being together on our wonderful playground!

I have been teaching young children for over 30 years. I love seeing the world though a child’s eyes as they discover and experience the world God created for them. Over the years, I have taught ages 2 through 6, spending 12 years teaching kindergarten. My focus is on understanding each individual child and helping them grow with the confidence that they are safe and loved. I enjoy partnering with families as we set the foundation for their child’s success.

I began working with preschoolers very early in my life. What began as volunteering in my church's Sunday program as a teen, grew into what I knew I wanted to do with my life. Their unique perspective of life is what makes them amazing people and amazing students. They are always so eager to learn and discover new things. For the past 20 years I have worked in both volunteer positions and as a preschool teacher. It is an honor to be included in part of their journey through early academia and social and emotional development.

I have always loved children, but when I had kids of my own, I realized how much I loved doing art and activities with them. When the pandemic happened and I was at home with my children and a preschooler I was nannying, I really leaned into teaching them through play. When my youngest was attending Harvest Preschool, I enjoyed being able to be a substitute in the classroom; and now that he's off to kindergarten, I am so excited to officially be part of the Harvest crew! I love teaching preschoolers new things to help prepare them for kindergarten, and I love watching the excitement that comes when they learn new skills.
