About Us
Partnering with parents, our goal is to teach children the joy of knowing that God made them, He loves them and that we can talk with Him as we go about our days.

Then Jesus called for the children and said to the disciples, “Let the children come to me. Don’t stop them!
Luke 18:16
Program
We prepare our play-based lessons based on topics children enjoy while noticing the seasons, celebrating birthdays and holidays, and reading great picture books. We sing songs and play games during circle time. We also like to go on field trips like the pumpkin patch or the zoo.
In normal school years, we sometimes invite family members to join us for special seasonal celebrations like Christmas, Valentine’s Day, or Mother’s Day.

A few of the many themes that we enjoy include Community Helpers, Dinosaurs, Outer Space, Fairy Tales, Pets, Insects, and Friendship. We also read and learn from the Bible and this is integrated into every theme we study. We include a Bible lesson every week.
Focus
We believe that preschool-age children learn best when we use play as our primary teaching tool.

We know that children learn by doing so plan hands-on activities and movement in every subject we teach.
We promise your child will learn and have fun while getting ready for Kindergarten!

I have been teaching young children for the last 30 years. I love seeing the world though a child’s eyes as they discover and experience the world God created for them. Over the years, I have taught ages 2 through 6, spending 12 years teaching kindergarten. My focus is on understanding each individual child and helping them grow academically, socially, and spiritually. I enjoy partnering with families as we set the foundation for their child’s success.

I began working with preschoolers very early in my life. What began as volunteering in my church's Sunday program as a teen, grew into what I knew I wanted to do with my life. Their unique perspective of life is what makes them amazing people and amazing students. They are always so eager to learn and discover new things. For the past 20 years I have worked in both volunteer positions and as a preschool teacher. It is an honor to be included in part of their journey through early academia and social and emotional development.

I have always loved children, but when I had kids of my own, I realized how much I loved doing art and activities with them. When the pandemic happened and I was at home with my children and a preschooler I was nannying, I really leaned into teaching them through play. When my youngest was attending Harvest Preschool, I enjoyed being able to be a substitute aide in the classroom; and now that he's off to kindergarten, I am so excited to officially be part of the Harvest crew! I love teaching preschoolers new things to help prepare them for kindergarten, and I love watching the excitement that comes when they learn new skills.
